Topaz Photo AI 2.3.2 suddenly became very slow (it worked fine for a while). Slow for open image and even when trying to open the Preference. The performance is so slow that it almost seems not responsive. Opening the preference took a few mins.
I did try restarting the Photo AI and rebooting my computer and it didn’t help.
I upgraded to AI 2.4 and had the same issue. I tried changing the AI Processor from Auto to CPU, M1Pro and it didn’t help.
Tested the following:
- Before upgrading to 2.3.2, it was working fine
- Upgraded to 2.3.2, it worked for the first few images and suddenly became slow
- Upgraded to 2.4 and had the same performance issue
- Removed 2.4 and reinstalled 2.3.2. It worked for the first few images and suddenly became slow
