Topaz Photo AI - Scaling dpi issue?

I use Gigapixel for months for upscaling my image and increase resolution (from 96 dpi to 150/300 dpi) and it works well. However, I try to do samething with Photo AI by specifying “IN” as unit of measure and the value “150” px/in and it doesn’t work as it should be; the new upscale picture is kept at 96 dpi instead of 150 dpi. I set both width and height value properly to Inch and px/in value to 150.

Is this a known issue ?

Topaz Photo AI [v2.0.1] on [Windows]

Images in general have pixels, not dots. The dots per inch refer to the output device, in this case: the printer.

In the Autopilot Preferences menu, you can set the output size and default resolution under the settings for the Upscale filter.

Resolution should be working as expected now. Please take a screen recording of this behavior so I can see exactly what is happening. Loom is a great free application for this: Download the Loom Desktop App | Loom
