hi for the last 2 months when processing pictures after a few pictures topaz suddenly drops out. I have to restart topaz to continue anyone know why this is happening,

Yes … its frustrating … I had a total of 133 files … was processing them in a batch [RAW] prior to pulling them into LR … got a good number in … then Topaz just closed up … had to restart … and I noticed that it would process less and less … as I continued on …
Wonder what’s up with that …
What version are you working with?
Mine shows 2.4.1 [I can barely read it … but I think that’s what it said]

I have ver 2.4.1 as well and it is intermittently choking on .nef files when run as a plug-in for Affinity Photo ver 2.4x. It does not happen with the stand alone version.

That’s odd because its the stand alone that’s crashing for me …
This is my 1st time running the images through Topaz prior to working on them in LR.
Normally I just do one here and there … but I knew I was going to have to adjust these prior.
This is for the Canon CR files …

Let’s try updating you to the most recent version release to see if this resolves the issue.
Please make sure you’ve also turned off any firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installation. Also, make sure there are no settings or configurations in your OS system that could interfere.
