Topaz Gigapixel v1.3.2 - 1.3.3

Hi,
Woke up … Thought I had died and gone to Purgatory.
How the heck did a miss a v1.3.3 release on 27 June 2026
Too many mushrooms I guess ???
Please can you correct your post?
I’m too old to be exposed to that sort of shock when I wake up !!!

Anyway looking forward to checking it out now …

Can you contact us via email so we can assist? This experience seems out of the ordinary.

Thanks

Will do, Alexandre!

Yea!
There is freeze in the middle of processing; became frequent.
The OS does not freeze.
Only application freezes without affecting it elsewhere.
I reprocess a file of non-processing from an update day.

Hello Fotomaker.

Open File Explorer in Windows 11. Find a picture that you know you previously worked on using the previous version of Gigapixel that you used. Left click on the file to select it and then right click and select Properties and then select the Details tab and scroll down and it should show the version of Gigpixel that you used.

You most likely already know this way to find the last installed version but maybe other members don’t.

Best regards Robert B.

Thanks Robt.! That’s nice of you to take the time to show that.

I already restored my earlier release yesterday and (guess what) it works! And, it took about 40 secs. to install… (imagine a throat clearing sound).

But that’s really useful info for anyone to know. For all us visual folks the graphic you included is terrific!

Thx again.

It’s working fine again using normal update process, thanks.

Hi Robert.

I answered your query within the other post

Has that fix been released yet?

In my humble opinion, version 1.3.3 is the one he’s referring to, since he mentioned a fix this week. However, his post is 9 days old. So yes, it must very likely be referring to that.

lol :joy: :joy:

how much should this folder really weigh?
my SSD space is getting smaller and smaller with each Gigapixel update

Don’t you have a second drive for data? Personally, my main drive is 500GB but I have secondary drives for data and storage-intensive software.

confirming that the issue with random crashes or crashes when batch processing has been fixed in v1.3.3

This is the right size for that folder. Some of the models are very big in the new versions.

Hi Alexandre,

I’m looking forward to lighter weight releases so I can update again from the “retro” version 3-4 releases ago that I must run now to preserve space on my computers (Win desktop & laptop).

Thx!

We are looking into solutions to make the app smaller, especially when users have multiple apps from Topaz that have the same models, like Topaz Gigapixel and Topaz Photo

That sounds like a cool (and would be much welcomed) approach, Alexandre! Looking forward to it! :+1: :crossed_fingers: :slightly_smiling_face:
