Want to upscale a VOB-File (about 30 minutes long), recorded by HD recorder, have to crop because of letterbox/pillerbox in the original TV format (4:3 or similar). Shall be upscaled to HD, enhanced with Artemis (1. enhance, low qualitiy) and Iris (2. enhance, low quality. First clip is ok, second clip (also manual cropped) results with the same parameters in a small vertical or horicontal stripe. Perhaps data of first crop work in background (RAM?). When quitting Topas and restarting PC, it seems to work as planned. Previews allways look correct.

Thank you Kyle. Meanwhile I think I have made an error (fatal error - change operator ;-). The original VOB from DVD has been in a normal tv format with letter- respective pillarbox. When I don’t crop and just upscale to hd and also use artemis (lq) and iris (also lq) the result is fine. I still use the original pixel type.
But one more question: When I try to optimize old panavision or cinemascope material (recorded from analog tv signal by hd recorder and copied to dvd in sd quality, huge letterbox), I see in TVAI only a part of the picture. How can I display the whole material? Have a nice time, Michael

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing when working with the older material? I am trying to picture what is happening but I want to make sure I understand.
here are three screenshots of my handling older movies. When I handle VOB files directly, split screen shows different frames in before and processed, This happens also when exporting a short sequence (2024-10-17 VOB export settings). Uploading the mp4 sequence is not possible.
Problems seem to be solved, when running the VOB files through Handbrake before handling in TVAI. Meanwhile I use the preset “Fast 480p30” and change to 25. If it works the next time, I create a preset “480p25”. But until now, I’m not very common with Handbrake.
