Sent you my system profile. Marked Ronny Persson
Your information about your machine tells me it does not meet our Minimum System Requirements. I have included a link to our Topaz Labs Documentation page for your review:
Topaz Photo AI | System Requirements
Your CPU only has 12 GB of RAM, while our requirement is 16 GB, which is likely why you are experiencing these crashes.
We do have Topaz Photo AI v3.0.4 and v2.4.2, which may give you a more stable application for this machine. You can use the following links to download these installers for your review:
Topaz Photo AI | v2.4.2 | Windows Installer
Released March 28th, 2024
Topaz Photo AI | v3.0.4 | Windows Installer
Released June 13th, 2024
The newer interface that all v3 have, but v3.0.4 does not have the new Autopilot updates.
It can sometimes work on underpowered machines; however, it will be slower than v2.4.2
I have updated my computer to 16gb ram but still have the same problem with Photo AI crashing when the analysis of the image is done
I’d like to get some more information to help troubleshoot the problem you are having.
Could you send us your computer’s updated full system profile?
Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.
If you would prefer you can securely submit your files(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Make sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.
Sent you my new system file and log files
Can you test the following steps:
Open Photo AI as a standalone, and before importing any files, go to Edit > Preferences > General.
Set the AI Processor to CPU.
Click Apply.
Now it seems to work. Thanks for the help
