TOPAZ 3.2.2 defaults to 1 in my preferences

The new version determines the preferences automatically I always had set it to 2 but this is not adjustable anymore

I do not understand why my benchmarks tell me 2 X framehandling 4.32 is not faster than setting this to 1

did i misunderstood

1X, 2X and 4X refer to the amount of upscaling not simultaneous threads.

That said, I think their limits are a bit low. I can run 3 jobs at once quite easily on my system, but their algorithm is limiting me to 2. I pick up an extra 2 fps in the aggregate running 3 instead of 2 (which is another couple of frames faster than 1). Beyond 3 I get no gains, so I feel 3 is the right limit for my system.

Thanks AHA that explains 2 x 4X

I always let the output the same as the input just change the encoder to the latest and greatest h265

why my media server will figure it out how to upscale to 4K automatically that is built in my enigma2 box
