When using Topaz Photo 2.0 in PS by clicking File then automate Topaz Photo after topaz makes the adjustments, they are saved as edited, after closing Topaz by clicking the save to PS button. You can see the changes in Topaz before closing the program, but once it is saved, the changes are gone.
On the other hand, using the normal way for me, by going to Filter, then Topaz Photo, the changes are seen after saving back to PS.
So the File then automate method does not work but the Filter then Topaz method works fine.
I am using a macbook pro with latest operating system for Apple.
I have the exact same behavior on my Intel iMac. On my Macbook Air (M1) clicking File>Automate>Topaz Photo Ai does just duplicate the current layer and then noting, the plugin does not open.
Same issue here on 2019 iMac with Ventura 13.5.2, PS2023 and latest Photos Ai 2.0; Automate In seems to work until saved back to PS layer. Plugin method still works however.
