The audio coming from Video AI is horribly distorted

[If you are posting a new bug, please include the following]

  1. The bug / behavior you have encountered
As the title states, the video coming from Topaz Video AI is excellent, however something is happening to the sound. It is very loud and distorted. It was not doing this in the past, so I am trying to see if it’s the Media Composer Enterprise system I am using, which is new, the Nvidia A2000 12 gig video ram, or Topaz itself

  2. Your system profile
    DxDiag.txt (105.6 KB)

  3. Your log files (Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support)
    logsForSupport.zip (683.5 KB)

  4. Any screenshots as necessary

Thank you for looking into this for me, it has been driving me nuts for the past week

Are you able to share a sample clip for us to test and try and duplicate the results to help eliminate it being the system and the GPU?

You can securely submit your file(s) to our Dropbox using the link below. Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something and include the file name.

Did you get the file I uploaded to your dropbox?

I just got it, the audio does not sound distorted to me if this is the processed and exported version of the file.

Might need to check the audio playback settings of the video player that you are using to confirm that it does not have a gain or extended volume control setting that is causing the increase.

This seems to be happening after the files are ingested into Media Composer. It’s after that point that the distortion seems to be taking place. I will post on the Avid forum and see if I can get some help with this.
Thank you for your help in sorting this out. It’s much appreciated.
