I’ve uploaded the raw file and the jpg. I deleted the generated dng, but if absolutely necessary I can recreate. It is quite consistent of an issue.
I ended up going back to Lightroom and using their Denise and Sharpen and got great results.
I’ve listed some concerns/issues that you should pass on to Product Management if you’re interested in keeping your product viable…. I only expect that you’ll address this issue.

Some feedback from a frustrated user:
I hadn’t used topaz for several months. Why? Every time I go in to use it, something has change rather major in the user interface and use model (I go from Lightroom directly).
Adobe’s results are just as good, if not better in all but sharpening.
There are often bugs. Seeing this one re-appear is very disheartening. Isn’t it part of your regression suite? I reported this originally in 2023 and it was worked on then, with a work-around. I’d expected it to be fixed by now, and the work around I was given (a disable button) is no longer part of the user interface (that I could find).
—> Basically, the quality has slipped, user interface changes are often and confusing, and the features are barely keeping up.
Please let me know how the above issues are going to be addressed. Right now, I am not sure I’m going to renew the product.
To get the best understanding of the workflow you are using while experiencing this issue, would you please take a screen recording of this behavior so I can see exactly what is happening?
This will help me relay this information to the developers to help them investigate this further to hopefully get a better understanding in order to find a fix for this issue.
Hi John,
I apologize, I’m really not interested in spending my time tracking this down for your team. I may be incorrect, yet it seems that this is a bug that I reported months ago that hasn’t been addressed and the work-around removed.
It just isn’t worth my time when I have found that other tools can and do meet my needs.
You might want to have someone respond to my systemic concerns about the Topaz suite, at least from a still photographer’s point of view.
