Topaz Photo AI Bugs and Issues

Currently, the Panasonic GH7 is not supported by Photo AI, but we do have an open ticket with our development team to fully support this camera model in the future. We’ve added your information to this ongoing support ticket, and we will keep you updated as we work on adding support for it.

In the meantime, the workaround is to convert your ARW files to DNG. I’ve included some details below on workflows that can help with this processing:

  1. If you have Lightroom Classic, Import your RAW files into Lightroom Classic and make sure you select “Copy as DNG”, then Use the RAW plugin of Photo AI accessed through File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI

  2. You can also use another program of your choice. A great free option is the Adobe DNG Converter.

Same Problem here with Panasonic GH7 RAW files on Windows 11. Deleting plug in and run rapair installation has no effect.
No problems with tiffs.

Hello,

Can you send us a few files from that camera so we can test it on our end?

  • You can securely upload it to our Dropbox
  • This camera is not supported yet in Photo AI.

one of the Panasonic GH7-files, which worked all fine on TopazPhotoAI-3.4.2, can you find here:

Hello everyone, we have released Photo AI v3.6.1, which now fully supports the RAW files from the Panasonic GH7 camera. You can forego the previous DNG workaround and edit the native RAW files directly with Photo AI or its plugins.

You will be able to download this update by using your in-app update option or here: Topaz Photo AI v3.6.1
