This is the error when opening an image through the Apple Photos app plugin on Mac OS 26.2:

OpenlmagelO could not find a format reader for “Library/Containers/ com.topazlabs.TopazPhotoplugin/ Data/tmp/ com.topazlabs.TopazPhotoplugin/ 67C9A94F- AA97-40A2-8404-22BD71DA15CD -32271-000013DA41F6C4D4/ Apple Photos Image.heic”. '. Is it a file format that OpenlmagelO doesn’t know about?

This became an issue I believe a few releases back. I think it has been resolved with the release of v1.1.1 on Dec 22.

Yes, I had this issue on 1.1.0. I’ll try it with 1.1.1.
