Did you run this on autopilot or manual? I posted in another thread how strange it is how different members are getting vastly different results. I grabbed your original, not surre what it is so tweaking recovery was a little bit of a challenge. Is it an aerial of a land mass with lakes and a river?
Anyway this is what my Windows machine put out. Click on the image for a larger view if you are interested.
The images above were just a snippet of a larger image to show highlight the issue. I attach the original here (as a .jpg instead of a .tiff) and the results from AutoPilot. I should say I’m using Topaz AI Photo v2.4.0. The image is showing the distribution of Si from a small section of a rock sample. The data are EDS spectra collected on a scanning electron microscope. I’ve processed lots of these kinds of maps using Topaz and this is the first time I’ve seen this issue. I only recently updated to 2.4.0. Note: I was trying to process a .tiff in Topaz, but I can’t upload the .tiff to this web form so I attach a .jpg instead.
In your completed denoise sample not only is it adding a line with a pink hue but if you look closely your image also is filled with squares/frames. They are subtle but I can see them when I pull the images over onto my computer, I run Windows and TPAI 2.4.
A couple things, thank you for explaining what the image was, I never would have guessed that in a million years.
And the frames have been reported by other Mac users, you may want to do a search.
Here is the sample of your original image, I did a side by side so you could view the difference and the settings I used to clean up the noise. I do not get the squares/framing or any color hues.
Have you contacted support directly with a sample and your system specifications. They are a real helpful group, if you like the UI reach out for them, if you preferred the old version it’s simple to roll back.
