RAW files hang AGAIN!

I am shooting a Nikon D7500 with RAW .NEF image files. I am importing them into Apple Photos (Fully updated) running Sonoma 14.6.1 on an iMac. When I try to use Topaz Photo AI (version 3.2.0) I am able to perform all of the edit functions. However, when. try to export to Photos ( I am using Topaz P. AI as a plugin) the processing begins but never finishes. The prossessing wheel keep spinning but nothing happens. I have paused to process and restarted, I have quit and repaired my photos library to see if any files may have been corrupt. But this did not fix the issue. Both landscape and portrait images do not work.
I have included one raw image and the log files. I’m not sure what else I need to include at this point.

Please help me sort this out. The last time this happened I needed to downgrade to an earlier version and wait weeks for an update that finally worked. Updating, hitting the same problem then having to reinstall (downgrade) Photo AI each time until the issue was resolved in an update. This is all very time consuming and frustrating. I LOVE this software, but I wish the updates were tested better before being released. They are just too buggy. I have a pit in my stomach every time an update comes out wondering if it will prevent me from using the software for weeks or months, again.

Thanks very much for the help, Be Well, Jason

Please follow the instructions below to perform a clean install to troubleshoot better why you had this problem with Topaz Photo AI:

  1. Be sure you have fully closed any plugins, such as Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, etc.
  2. Clear any previous plist files on your computer for Topaz Photo AI | Topaz Photo AI | plist Files Mac
  3. Disable any antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy software that might be active on your computer. These tools sometimes interfere with the installer’s ability to download the model files.
  4. Ensure that the Topaz Photo AI installer has all the proper settings in your system by going to your Mac System Settings > Privacy & Security tab and scrolling down to the security section. You will want to make sure you have ‘App Store and identified developers’ selected | MacOS | Example of Proper System Preferences
  5. Rerun the installer. You can download a new installer from your account’s download page | Topaz Labs | My Account | Download Page

Let me know how that goes for you and I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.
