Problems with running the programm while Nvidia G-Sync ist activated

Topaz Photo AI [v2.1.3] on [Windows]

Steps to reproduce issue:

Activcate Nvidia G-Sync and open Topaz Photo AI.

Issue:

While the Nvidia G-Sync technologie ist active the entire screen begins to flicker when I move my mouse inside the programm.

When I disable Nvidia G-Sync the programm runs smooth and fine. The behaviour is only occuring on Topaz Photo AI. I possess the entire Topaz series and it only happens to Photo AI.

I tried even to disbale Nvidia G-Sync in the Advanced settings inside the Nvidia control panel but it does not work.

I always run with G-Sync on, and have not had this problem.

Seems to be more for gaming than photo editing?

Not sure if I have it activated on my card. I don’t get any flicker in PAI. Do you have the gaming or studio drivers, set on your gpu card?

I have changed my driver to studio, which seems to have fixed some issues with Topaz but it does run slower.

thank you all for your replys. I have indeed the Nvidia Gaming driver installed and Nvidia G-Sync enabled beacuase I game a lot. I can deactivate Nvidia G-Sync for using PAI. If I do so I have no problems at all. The strange thing is that it only happens at PAI.

Does anybody have the same issue or any suggestion of what I can try next?

I just tried to record that flicker in PAI but it were not recorded. Wierd.
