Normaly, I used to see these green bars where the preview would show up. But since the last udate, It’s not showing up anymore. Has something changed?
I have the same problem. After reinstalling the program, the preview function returned, but after a few days the same error appears. There is no green rendering progress bar and no preview of the enhanced image. It is very difficult to make optimal model settings if we do not see the effects of changes on an ongoing basis. Program version 6.1.0
Thank you for sharing the screenshot and reporting this. The team is looking into this issue to try and help resolve it.
Following up, the preview looks to be only a 2 second preview and the timeline is zoomed all the way out to show the entire hour plus long video. If you zoom in on the timeline you should see the green section appear right at the playhead.
I just updated to 6.1.0 and the preview is just gone for me too. When I generate the preview, the green bar appears at the bottom of my video. It stays there until the frames finish processing and then it automatically disappears. So I can’t see what the enhancement looks like. This is very annoying.
me too.
I hope will be fixed.
Thanks!
I am experiencing this as well. I’m on 6.0.4
I believe I have found a work around, or at least one reason the previews are not showing.
It is based on the Output Codec Settings. Originally I was trying to export a 16bit TIFF Sequence, and when that was set I would not get a rendered preview. So I switched it to be a ProRes MOV, because I knew the H264 wouldn’t support the resolution I was trying to Achieve.
By default the Profile of a ProRes is 422 Proxy, and with this enabled, still no Previews were being rendered. However when I switched it to 422 STD or Above, the Previews rendered and the Green Line remained. I could then Toggle between my UpScale and the Original now.
I’m getting a preview error too.
I can’t have 2 different presets in split view with 2 previews.
The first preview is rendered and the green bar appears.
I select the other panel with a different preset, render it, and no green preview bar.
I am zoomed in to the correct view.
The previews are being crated (they are in the preview folder).
They just don’t appear on the timeline so a MASSIVE step backwards in useability.
I have my settings at ProRes 422 HQ and changing this does not have any effect.
Did you ever find a way to fix this? I am having the same issue. No previews at all.
I am having the same issue with any Prores exports. No matter the version I choose, the preview will not play or show in the timeline. If I render to the other formats, they work. Prores does now. Attaching logs and system info. This is the section in the log where it dies trying to play the preview:

Also interested in this topic since I am sharing the same issue.
Was working perfectly until yesterday.
I have found that if I select a different output codec than the one I want (prores hq) from within the gui on the right column, and then set it back, the previews work. It seems like the codec settings area in the main app settings is broken somehow.
