I am on Mac OS 13.5.2 (22G91 and have been having issues with opening files from Lightroom suddenly. I downloaded the latest version of Photo AI and the images eventually open but the app freezes and won’t perform any tasks. When I look in “Force Quit” it show lightroom as not responding but photo ai as responding. Lightroom is also frozen. If I try to open an image (even a very small one) directly with the app it takes forever and freezes. Its totally unusable now?
Hi Tim, I tried the steps you suggested but cannot find the plist files. Using the “~” symbol doesnt let me access the library - the screenshot below is what I see without using it. The instructions look like they apply to a previous operating system? I’m on 13.5.2 (22G91). Any ideas? I should add that all the other plugins work fine. Also, if I try to open an image either by dragging it into AI or open via the dialogue nothing happens.
Once you are in the Library folder, please look for the Preferences folder.
In the Preferences folder, search for photo and make sure you are searching inside the Preferences folder and not “This Mac”.
This should show you the plist files for deletion. Reboot your computer after this.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, open Topaz Photo AI, go to the menu bar on the top and click the Help > Open Log Folder menu option. Attach the logs to your reply so I can check the contents.
