I have managed to resolve the problem, Ange Labbé-Dulude, Photo AI Support Specialist got back to me, we fixed it as below:-
Can you test this as a first step:

Open the app, go to Edit > Preferences > General > AI Processor

Put the AI Processor to CPU and click apply.

Reimport a file. If an error occurs, please send in a screenshot.
Putting the AI Processor into CPU was the fix that worked.
