No sync between sound and picture

Hi!
When I process my interlaced video the picture and sound are no longer in sync.
System:
Topaz Video Ai 5.2.1
MacBook Pro M3 Max, 64GB, Sonoma 14.5
What´s the problem?

Topaz doesn’t synch audio. You’re doubling your frame rate, so the audio won’t match correctly. Its the same issue with slow mo.

The original frames should still occur at the original timestamps, while the 25 interpolated frames are placed between and alongside them, so A/V sync should not be effected.

This is a reasonably new issue that has cropped up over the last few months.

Edit : output is variable framerate (at least from TVAI output) rather than constant. Metadata framerate is also different between the stream and container (MKV) which doesn’t help.
