Model Download Failure - model not found

We are currently investigating error messages that state the following;

  • Model not found
  • Model failed
  • Error from AI Engine: Download failed

Prior to contacting support please try the following:

  1. Ensure that your machine has at least 16GB of RAM to download models
  2. If you are a Mac user and you have installed the app using the DMG, make sure that you have properly installed the app and are not launching directly from the DMG
  3. You are connected to the internet
  4. TVAI has full disk access
  5. You do not have any connection blockers preventing the app from reaching the server

Please contact our support team at support.topazlabs.com with the following;

  1. The specific error you are seeing
  2. Your system profile (Instructions for Mac) or (Instructions for Windows)
  3. Your log files (Help > Logging > Get Logs For Support within Video AI)
  4. Any screenshots as necessary

Unfortunately, your logs are empty, however, this is usually a result of a connection blocker.

For example a VPN, proxy, firewall, anti-virus, or Windows Defender / Windows Defender Smartscreen, etc.
