Loghtroom Classic won't save Photo AI edit and gives "An internal error has occurred. Assertion failed"error

I consistently encounter an error message from LRC when trying to save an image edited in Photo AI. The error message is: " An internal error has occurred. assertion failed!" I’m using v 2.2.1 of photo AI and iMac with Sonoma 14.1.2. I’ve kept up with all Topaz updates and have encountered this error consisttently when using the plug-in extra for raw file editing; error does not occur with jpeg editing.
Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1 - edit lightroom raw image using plug-in extra
  2. Step 2 - hit Save to Adobe Lightroom Classic
  3. Step 3 - error message consistently will appear at end of saving process

I had a look at the log file you provided.
It seems this is the culprit:

Dear Konrad82

Thank for picking this up.
I went ahead and renewed my Photo AI license.
I then tested again retrying to save a Lightroom classic image that I processed on photo AI utilizing the Plug in Extras under File menu on LR Classic.
At the end of the Save process, /I received the same “Assertion failed” error message on Lightroom .
I attached a screenshot.

Please help! As it stands, Photo AI using the plugin extra route (so that a raw image can be edited - as opposed to drag/drop which edits a tiff or jpeg version) is not usable for me.

Thanks!

One other thing: I did reinstall Photo AI v 2.2.1 after I renewed my license this morning

Could you please post a new log file?

Try deleting the plist files for TPAI. Others have reported this working when there are other issues. It might work here too.
If not, de-install everything to do with TPAI. Don’t just trash it. Use AppCleaner or the like. Then install completely afresh.

I deleted TPAI using App Cleaner/Uninstall and reinstalled with v 2.2.2.
Same exact problem continues - when attempting to save image processed from Lightroom Classic using the TPAI plugin extra , continue to get error message " An internal error has occurred. Assertion failed". As I prefer editing using RAW files, this continued error makes TPAI useless for me (don’t need it for editing JPEGs).
Any further ideas?
Thanks
