I’ve got a new Mac Studio (M4max 64GB memory, 4TB SSD, MacOS 15.4) and HDR Display BenQ MA320U. In the system monitor panel I selected HDR. When I import an HDR video done with my iPhone (BT.2020 HLG (9-18-9) HEVC, and import it in Video AI 6.1.3, the colours and luminance are very poor in Video AI display. Thus, it is impossible with such preview to adjust the improvement settings, because of a poor preview in the application. Please help to fix this issue. You will find here attached a screenshot with an original image at the right side, and Topaz via at the left side.

Currently HDR is not supported within the in-app preview player on Mac, however, our team is working on bringing support in a future update. The exported file will show the true color .

Thanks for your reply. I hope it will come quickly, both for Topaz video AI and Topaz photo AI. That’s a big issue for me, if we can’t rely on the in-app player.
You can also right click on the preview screen > original > open in external player to play back in the default media player on your system!
