Images selected within Lightroom are very dark when opend in Photo AI

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. select an image in LR
2. Choose FIle->Plug in extras-> process ith Photo AI
3. Image is very, very dark when opened via the plugin

Seems to have started after an update that was pushed out late last week

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like this is an issue with the color space conversion on your monitor.

To fix this, please open Topaz Photo AI and go to the Topaz Photo AI > Preferences > General menu. Turn on Enable sRGB Preview Fallback and this should fix the colors on your screen.

I ran LR & Photo AI again today, and the problem went away! My Mac did an OS update last night and rebooted, so perhaps that had something to do with it.

I will keep this in mind if it happens again.

I am having the same problem with my Lenovo Legion Machine. Reboot doesn’t fix the problem. I tried your solution above, but there isn’t a place to turn on sRGB Preview.

FWIW, I reported this yesterday in the bug group. Someone suggested I re-install Topaz-A1. That seems a bit convoluted for an update.
