I need help for Starlight mini infinite Loading model Issue to get the Output video

Yesterday, I bought the update to Topaz Video AI 7. It wasn’t cheap, but it will improve my proficiency as an animator. However, I’m having an issue with the new Topaz Video AI 7 and the Starlight Mini model. When I try to output the video and start the upscaling process to get the final result, I get stuck on an infinite loading model. How can I fix this issue? It looks like I’m not the only one with this issue. I really need a quick solution. I have a dozen projects that I can’t work on until this is fixed. It’s crazy that I just bought the new update with the new model, which is the most expensive Topaz AI model, and can’t do anything with it.

Can you provide me more detail about this file because like I said it’s for my proficiencies and I will like to stick professional and avoiding leaked from my privacy data because I don’t want to lose my job So what is the content of this file exactly.

I have exactly the same issue. No matter which file i try to enhance, eternally “Loading model…”

I’d like to remark that the program crashed during the download of the 7GB Starlight Mini files, but continued downloading the remaining 3,5GB model files after a restart. After the completion of the download nothing happend to the shiny, starlighty mini-window.

I solved this by lowering the input video resolution down to 480p or lower. Otherwise it will just stay in “Loading model” forever. I have a 4090, so if you have less VRAM than 24GB, you might have to go even lower than that.

I am writing to request a refund, as I am unable to resolve this issue. It is unacceptable to purchase a car without the engine. I have followed your instructions and sent an email to Topaz Lab, but I have not received a response. This is now two days past the initial email, and I am hoping to receive a resolution soon. Could you please provide an update on the situation?

I have the same problem. Just bought Video AI 7 specifically for starlight mini and have not yet been able to process a single clip. Starlight Mini stuck on infinite load, or sometimes just very long before returning an error. There is no error code, just a request to send logs to support.

Tried downresing the input clip to 480p as someone here suggested, no difference.

I’m on a 4090 with the latest nvidia drivers.

me too I have a 4090 and Threadripper but I can’t do 480P because I seek perfection so I want to have the highest quality like 4K or 8k but Starlight Mini doesn’t have 8K so I would like to use 4K Upscale With 240 fps Video But I tried every solution I know and learned by the other users of Starlight Mini but this is not working so I’m losing hope

you can also always try one of the V7 Beta, which can be installed parallel to the Live version. Sure this does not fix the final for you but until you get a solution it’s a try worth. You can find the downloads in the beta forum section, first postings.

i have amd 9800x3d and rtx 5090. and same problem. loading model forever. what is the problem? i want to use starlight mini.

Have the same problem. Model loading message for about 3-4minutes. Followed by An Error Occurred. See export log.
