when i update 6.0.3,i can’t install the news version, i don’t know ,why
It looks like missing admin permission with loged on user for the update, OR the Registry Key is somewhat corrupted.
open regedit and search under “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE” for key: 8A911E064453AD35BAB1330CA2E17C24 and check permissions of this key
Or “add remove programs” deinstall TVAI and download the TVAI setup file for a new installation.
Are you running the installer as an Admin on the system or under a User profile?
As @Mayday mentioned, checking the registry is a good option as well.
Try removing the older installation completely and clearing the Registry files using the steps below and then installing a clean copy.
- Delete any files and folder for the main drive - C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Video AI\
- Open the Registry Editor on your system. - Windows Key+R will open the run option and then type regedit. Click yes when it prompts.
- Navigate down to the following folders and right-click on it to delete it.
- I. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Topaz Labs LLC\ Topaz Video AI. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Video AI
- Reboot your system
- Reinstall the app from a clean download using this link: Video AI v6.0.3

A solution could be auto delete all TVAI Regkeys and during installation process new ones gets created. But when TVAI installer has no access to keys, then also delete fails, in this case the TVAI installer could change permissions of this keys to get access (icacls). But maybe it was a rare case here and there is no need doing this.
