How to stop Photo AI from applying a camera profile to DNG images?

Photo AI applies a camera profile when opening DNG files. There seems to be no way to disable this feature. Am I missing something?
Thank you!

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. open a DNG file generated by DxO PL6
  2. see the message from Photo AI about applying a camera profile
  3. produce the JPEG, and observe a flat product image

Topaz Photo AI [v1.5.1] on [Mac, latest Ventura]

Please send me the DNG file from DxO PL6 so I can check this behavior.

You can securely submit your image(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.

Once I reproduce this I can share the behavior with my team to fix it.

Dear Lingyu,

I sent you two files: a DNG and the corresponding JPG, produced by DxO Photolab.

I am not sure if you understand my question. I was wondering if a DNG image could be opened in Photolab AI without the latter applying a camera profile to the image?

There seems to be no such option available, to disable this function.

Thank you,

Dmitri

I think you are getting Topaz Photo AI and DxO Photolab confused. These are two different applications.

Topaz Photo AI does not have settings to apply or not apply a camera profile to a DNG file.
