All the other release topics are closed and the pinned one about understanding releases is read only, so I’ll reply here:
These are the versions Topaz Labs recommends to use:
Recommendations
If you’re having issues with compatibility, consider the current system requirements and choose an earlier version.
We recommend v6.3.3 for under-spec systems compatible with legacy requirements
We recommend v8.2.2 if you cannot update to the latest build of Windows 10If you prefer functionality from a previous release, use the last feature release that included the functionality you liked better.
We recommend v7.4.4 if you do not want cloud-generative features
If you’re experiencing a bug that snuck into a new release, use a previous patch release that didn’t include the bug, or update to a newer patch that you haven’t yet installed.
We recommend v8.3.4 if you’re experiencing excessive model errors
So if those are the officially recommended versions, then why do Topaz Labs pester people who are using these RECOMMENDED versions with constant update requests?
Why the heck are Topaz Labs constantly forcing update recommendations onto these users within the Gigapixel application in a way that will almost automatically result in an undesired and officially NOT RECOMMENDED update with just one simple erroneous click???
Topaz Labs really needs to remove those increasingly annoying update requests from the recommended app versions ASAP.
Thank you!
