Was the limit for 12k pix big images removed, for Redefine?

I’ll also be interested to see if granularity of controls was added, besides support for normal sized images. So we can be subtly ‘creative’… B/c, I was just dinged 15 credits and got zero change to my image on the prior release trying to prevent AI psycho look.

The AI images are getting annoying.
I would like to use the tool for pictures that have a real background and are not fictitious.

By the way.
The release of the new Pure Raw 4 version and the update to Deep Prime XDs (“s” is new) and the combination of a new flash for my Eos R3 has greatly reduced the need for Photo AI.

When I use the flash, the camera reduces the ISO by 2x.

Because I use it with an old shooting technique, the flash is not even noticeable in the picture.

I wanted to remove a car from a picture today but Photo AI remove failed badly. (Adobe too).

Must have a look at On1, they advertised to be better.

That said, Photo AI can still work wonders.

why did the Public release get a beta version and our Beta Version did not get an update…?I just went to update the beta version and it said we are running 8.0.01 as the latest release…?

Thomas its ok and sorry you are getting annoyed…The prompt area is awesome in itself and is getting refined even as we speak…I can find all kinds of uses for redifine options…I wish we could use a select brush or lasso tool in Giga kinda like in PS2024/2025…But as I have said get used to it…Giga can be used by artists as well as photographers…I use giga to upscale my old 1990’s renders that were 640x480 and 1024x768 as a 3D artists I can use redifine really well…I pay 26$ a month for Photoshop and I love generative options…AI is here to stay and yes all of TOPAZ products are built off of AI anyway…So you also are using AI in your photographs…

…and still the same endless processing others here also experience whenever rendering or generating previews with generative AI models.

Major issues have not been fixed.

AI is great, but I have to agree with Thomas. I personally can only look at all the Topaz girls and Topaz tigers for so much before it gets old, really. And for me it’s gotten old after about 5 pictures showing the same old ‘amazing’ Topaz girl stuff.

Yes. Agree!

I like to use the small amount of AI I use in a subtle way to complement my own shots; and, for when I can’t find appropriate stock, for fine art composites.

Great to know about alternatives to explore! Thx.

While I find the creativity quite interesting what me annoys the most is that the highest creativity levels often tend to deliver exactly the same style. There is often no variation in the overall look.

What I do not understand is, Topaz’s girl, like or not, is feedback from GP and for ALL that is complaining about Topaz’s girl, is only flooding the feedback thread with nothing at all but hate with NONE of their release findings feedback back at all.

Now, how is all that immature whining is helpful to potential users, and their fellow community, that desire feedback from ALL IMAGERY to deduce a final decision on GP, eh?

Yes. No control.

Maybe I’m the only one, but to me no substantive control doesn’t equal ‘creative’ … any more than relinquishing total image processing control to an autopilot.

Geez, might as well send the robot out with the camera to capture shots too that it can auto offload to its autopilot buddy.

Maybe just put it all into a separate dedicated “Show off your Topaz girls and Topaz tigers” thread?

What was around it?

The remove tools (Adobe icluded!) get finicky about what’s selected.

Would be interesting to know if something else achieves what you want.

…or they could just… uhm… ignore it and move on just like their none feedback results that SUPPOSE to be the purpose of a “release feedback thread” including Topaz’s girl and her village people. :joy:

… yes sure, …or they could just go ahead and completely ignore the whole discussion simply because it’s too time consuming to go through all the endless ‘Topaz girl spam’ trying to find a relevant post with some actual new and relevant insight.

Behind the (red) car was a door (really big one for farming machines).

Adobe replaced the car with a bush and a table.

(did use the old impainting too, no luck)

Photo AI did almost a good job but the resolution of the generation is bad.

Bc the selection was bigger than 2000px.

I will probably have to work with a hybrid of all tools, as I did last time.

You are conversing with that person now. Nothing is “too time consuming” if one desire answers/ knowledge.
