Exactly. To take a nice photo of, for example, a blackbird, a cat, a frog, or a bumblebee on a dandelion, you have to lie down on the ground with the camera.
I would lie if I said that I donāt welcome this conversation coming back to life as I tried to voice my concerns over this exact point in the previous thread - some 10 days or so ago.
Back then I was worried about shared issues/questions about experiencing problems with functionality getting lost in between the huge number of examples of how overboard the higher Redefine settings can take just about any picture. But it still kind of saturates our senses - like Thomas above I also got quite bored after a while.
BTW - The 8.0.1 thread generated more post than any release of GAI since 5.5.2 back in August 2021 and it left me with the that a great number of them were different variants of Topaz Girl and her family. At times I felt like I was watching a reincarnation of Agent Smith trying to take over our own personal Matrix. Fair enough - it was kind of a big thing that got introduced, but stillā¦
Hate is a very strong and not very fair word in this case. What I see is a number of users that have an opinion about the direction weāre goingā¦
Also - if you are concerned with showing potential users what GAI can do, shouldnāt the mix be a bit healthier than what it has been recently?
Rounding off, I also have to give @plugsnpixels a very important āyouāre rightā¦ā from the previous thread. Redefine is introduced as a part of GAI, so like it or not - for the moment this is the thread for discussing Redefine. Me I would just prefer a better balance between the Topaz Girl saturation and maybe paying a bit of attention to the rest of the great app GAI is.
GPās results, and the alike, ārelease feedback threadā is exactly that⦠feedback on ALL IMAGERY.
Itās just that simple.
Please, let this sink inā¦
Thereās nothing segregated in that post, like it or not. Feedback is just that⦠feedback.
And we are currently giving feedback on the abundance of overcooked Redefine examplesā¦
Or can we only give feedback on subjects that suits you? Nobody is saying anyone should stop sharing whatever pictures we want. Donāt see that anywhere.
You previously mentioned āhateā but at the moment it feels more like itās you doing the hating toward users who - I assume - also have the right to an opinion even though it doesnāt correspond with yoursā¦
Ha-ha!
Again⦠read above.
Do whatever you want and feel like, but Iām checking myself out from this discussion.
But despite that I am still wondering where the thread title says anything along the lines of: āFeedback on ALL GPAI imagery created with release 8.0.xyzā
HA HA! Jokeās on you!
Itās called⦠in 3rd-person⦠understood. ![]()
Iāve already suggested they create a new section for the AI posts:
Still refusing to read anything but what you want to read I seeā¦
I said my piece, so Iām Iām done with this particular part of the conversation.
Thank you for your time, and enjoy the rest of your day no matter what part of the world youāre located.
Well, as long as you are laughing, the rewards are grateful.
To you as well.
Saveing me a image, via super focus, where the bokeh of my Sigma 105 1.4 art was too much for the customer.
Bc one daughter was in focus the other one in the transition zone.
I always found that to be such a strange sounding term⦠![]()
Maybe your rig is just that powerful! ![]()
We are working on this! Ran into issues that are now resolved, needs more testing.
We are working on a beta right now that will be out soon. You will receive an email from us once the next Gigapixel beta is available.
From my conversations with researchers, while using high creativity is certainly interesting low creativity is best for the vast majority of images especially photography. I personally would love to see more low creativity cases for Redefine and how it can improve texture or detail on slightly blurry or low detail images.
Has anyone used the redefine model for upscaling rendering results? I would love to know how capable it is for improving photorealistic renderings! (I only own photo ai)
