Generated video stays on first frame

I’ve been using Topaz for awhile now and haven’t had too many issues.

Ever since I updated (was outdated for a bit, went from 3.1 to 3.5) when I generate a video, the video it generates (the one where you can see it by itself, or side by side, or split) won’t play or move. It just sits on the first frame. This also happens with exported finished videos.

When doing a side by side or a split frame the generated video just stays on the first frame. The original video will play though. The exported video will not play. It’s just the first frame with the video playing. Like it’s freeze framed while the video “plays.” Basically it’s like it generated the entire video as the first frame.

The exporting process still takes as long as it normally would.

Additionally my “preview” of the video being generated hasn’t worked during generation for some time. I have to wait until it’s done to view the generated videos, instead of seeing it as it’s generated. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or just something that was changed.

Also additionally prior to just freezing on one frame the video would just ERROR out and tell me to send a log. Now it just freeze frame generates without the error.

Again, I used to have no issues.

Same problem. did this morning’s update and now all i get is a single frame result for either preview or full video. Does anyone know a way to revert to previous version because i have a deadline.

download 3.5.0 here. Releases - Topaz Community
for best results, completely uninstall 3.5.1

We have a new pre-release version of Video AI that includes a possible fix for the error you are experiencing in the app. Please test out this update if you have a few minutes and let us know if things are working as expected.

Topaz Video AI Alpha 3.5.2.0.a.

This did fix the preview file not working and being stuck.

The video does still error out when it’s trying to export the entire video though. Simply telling me to supply a log file.

I will try reverting to see which version is causing my issue. Unfortunately it had been awhile since I updated and I don’t remember the exact version I was on previously.
