I’m seeing a weird fluttery pixelation effect every time it’s trying to do a stabilization. What am I doing wrong? I’ve attached logs for support as well as a system.txt file.
system.txt (3.7 MB)

original video: h.265 3840x2160 29.97 fps.
Video AI settings:
output resolution: 3840x2160 (original)
frame rate: 29.97 (original)
slow motion: none
method: full-frame
strength: 50
rolling shutter checked
jittery motion checked

of passes 4

motion deblur off
grain off
codec settings:
h265
profile high
bitrate dynamic
quality level high
audio mode copy
container mp4
logsForSupport.zip (20.2 MB)

The pixelation is usually seen when the AI model has an issue stabilizing the video or the settings are over cranked.

Do you need the Jittery Motion set to 4 passes? Try running it with only one pass.

I didn’t know the number of passes was only for jittery motion. In most software, multiple passes usually results in better quality so that’s why I set for 4.

It can help to go with more passes on some videos but it can also overcook the ai correction and cause issues. The same when setting the manual parameters if the model is trying to apply too much sharpen or denoise it can create an odd effect on the video.

Try it out with less passes and let me know if it looks better.
