I just bought topaz photo ai2 today, and it is extremely slow.

I have opened 1 (one!) photo via Capture 1 in Photo ai, raw file (sony arw) and it has taken about 8 minutes to add the sharpen. Then I wanted to drag the photo a bit to get my subject in the frame - now, 6 minutes later, it is still frozen with the rotating doomball.

Activity monitor says photo ai are using between 100-150% CPU.

I have a MacBook Air, M1, 16 GB RAM, Sonoma 14.0. (after almost 10 minutes it dragged the photo a tiny bit. I had to drag it more - now back to doomball).

As it is now, it is useless.

I hope someone can help - I do not have any antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy software , and I have checked that 'App Store and identified developers ā€™ is selected.
