Three attempts to enhance videos. Three download fail errors. Errors make the tool useless.
I’ve used my WiFi, and my mobile phone as a hotspot - no difference.
The error message is unhelpful. Why has the download failed? Why do I have to download anything as I have purchased the full product. Really frustrated.
Earlier the download worked - but took a long time!

Hey Ian, Video AI needs to download the AI models from the internet at the start of each process. If they are failing to download, it means your cookies are blocked somehow on your computer and the app is unable to connect to the web browser to download these models.
Common blockers can be due to a VPN, Firewall, Proxy, or antivirus, are you using any of these? Disable them one by one and try again. If that doesn’t work, please reach out to our support team at help@topazlabs.com so we can investigate further
The reason why they don’t automatically download is because they can take upwards of 60gb of hard drive space, and some users do not want to take up that much space on their drive and prefer to let the app download them during processing instead. You do have the option to pre-download the models if you’d like by going to file > model manager; however, they will not pre-download either until the culprit that is blocking this from happening is found.
