Enhancement (or lack of) to high quality still frames included in video project

  1. The behavior: I am using Video AI to upscale and remove noise from some older 1080p videos. The video portions look great. However, whenever there is a frame hold or a still images segment, there seems to be no enhancement. This is problematic because as soon as the video progresses from the frame hold to the moving video the difference in quality is dramatic.

If I am reading your post correctly, you are saying that you have still images inserted in the video that are causing the AI models to freak out when transitioning from the moving video frames to the still frames. What model are you running on the video?
