Is the Standard MAX module in Gigapixel is at the same exact level and quality as the one in Topaz Photo?
I am asking because on the Topaz Photo release notes it was stated that it is Similar to Gigapixel, insinuating it is not exactly the same module but close to being one.

This is a relevant question and I extend it a bit: Why to have both: Topaz Photo and Topaz Gigapixel? What more do I get with Gigapixel compared to upscaling features with new Topaz Photo (as a founding member license owner)?

Yes, the Standard MAX Model (not Module) in both Topaz Photo and Topaz Gigapixel are the same AI models the only difference is how they are applied in either application.
I’m afraid, you misread the information slightly it doesn’t say similar to Gigapixel AI it actually states.
The model is built on new architecture, producing very high-quality outputs similar to genaitive upscaling models in Gigapixel AI.
Because, Topaz Gigapixel and Topaz Gigapixel AI have both Refine and Recover Genaitive AI Models which, neither Topaz Photo or Topaz Photo AI currently have hence, similar to Genaitive Models found in Gigapixel.

As the name suggests Topaz Photo AI and Topaz Photo are aimed more towards Photographers and therefore, has more specific Enhancements for Denoising, Sharpening and Upscaling and is the more expensive of the two.
Gigapixel, on the other hand, is apart from being obviously cheaper than, the Photo applications is for everyone else for example, the Artist who wants to have high-quality Upscales and doesn’t want to rely on traditional methods of Upscaling that tend to make the artwork appear soft, for their work for clients who would like larger prints, the Graphic Artis working with Computer Art who wants to increase the resolution and quality of their work and the Image Restorer who needs to increase the size of old photographs and in doing so, increase the resolution and quality of those photographs either for Restoration or Archiving.
As a result, Topaz Gigapixel has a few things that Topaz Photo can’t do for specifically for those markets and did I mentioned you can also, send your images directly from Gigapixel to a Professional Print House for making high-quality Prints.
