Clearly an issue with 2.3.1. Taking forever to load images.
I’ve been testing Photo AI 2.3.1 today and am not seeing that delay. Photo AI shows you as either activated or as having selected a 30-day Trial/Demo mode within Photo AI before trying this, yes?
If so , there are two ways to send an image to Photo AI from Lightroom Classic, assuming that’s what you’re trying to do.
One way is to click in LrC for Windows, anyway (sometimes Mac versions of LrC have different menu command sequences that work the same way) Photo > Edit In > Topaz Photo AI. But if you’re sending over an original camera Raw or DNG file, Topaz recommends not doing it that way. TIFF, I believe, can work well that way, and I’m not sure about JPG, but for camera Raw or DNG files, Topaz recommends instead using LrC’s File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI .
Let’s try to reset your Lightroom plugin to try and get it working for you. You can follow the directions below to reset your Lightroom plugin:
- Close Lightroom fully.
- Run the Topaz Photo AI installer again. Get a new one from the downloads page: Topaz Labs Downloads
- Open Lightroom and check the File > Plug-ins Extras again.
Let me know if those steps get it working again.
Thank you - the issue seems to have been resolved.
Thank you - it’s back to normal now.
