DNG Write Error Message Exporting OM-1 II Files | Lightroom Classic Plugin

Currently I cannot save pictures back to Adobe Lightroom Classic when I try to save files from OM-1 Mk. 2.

LrC Version: 13.2
Camera Raw: 16.2
Topaz AI: 2.3.2
Kamera: OM-1 Mk 2

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. From Lightroom Classic call “Process with Topaz Photo AI”
  2. In Topaz AI leave everything on automatic using Remove Noise and Sharpening
  3. Klick “Save to Adobe Lightroom Classic” button
  4. Error Message: “Error: DNG Write Error”

Same error with v.2.4.0 so no support for OM-1 Mk2

This was with “Use Adobe DNG SDK for export” enabled.

When I disable the setting, there is an error message in Lightroom, saying “Failed to import processed photo. Processed photo may be from an unsupported camera or malformatted file:
/Users/oliverstoer/Pictures/2024/03/02/P1012061-2.dng”

So either way, it does not work

I am having continued issues with either the plug-in option from Lightroom using the DNG file from Photo Ai in Lightroom. I can take my orf file into Photo AI from Lightroom and edit it with no issues but when it saves it as a dng file to go back into Lightroom it gives me an error message and doesn’t save it. If I edit my image straight into Photo AI and then save as a DNG file, Lightroom will not open it or recognize it at all. Is there a plan to fix this and when might that be? I have seen others having the same issues. Thank you

The OM-1 Mark II files will be fixed in v2.4.1 which will be released very soon.

Until then, you can convert those OM-1 RAW files into either TIFF or JPG format to use with the application.

Thank you for the information! I will wait for the update since I have several images to edit.

Launching Topaz from Lightroom to process a .ORF (OMSystem RAW) photo works. However: “Save to Adobe Loghtroom Classic” produces ERROR: DNG Write Error.

Which camera model are you using to create these .ORF files?

OM-1 Mark II from OMSystem

The OM-1 Mark 1 (i.e. the ORFs generated with the first version of the camera) are working fine. Interestingly the ORF pictures generated with the Mark II are opened and treated correctly. Its just that they can’t be stored.

I have the same Problem as described above. Camera OM-1 Mark II, Mac Studio M1 Max, Max OS Ventura 13.6.5

I was on v2.4.0 and just got the update to v2.4.1 promted today. I can confirm it works. Thanks.

Photo AI 2.3.2 fails when writing orf files to dng. After image is processed and you save to LRC you get an error : failed write orf to dng.
