.dng files missing in Lightroom after using a new MacBook Pro

I set up a new MacBook Pro by and suddenly the .dng files are not saved in Lightroom anymore.

I’m using Topaz Labs with Lightroom Classic 13.1 with Camera Raw 16.1 and with a brand new MacBook Pro M3 on Sonoma

  • In Lightroom Classic I use the File → Plugins → Topaz photo AI for selected photos that need editing
  • Save to Lightroom
  • .dng files are shown in a separate folder
  • .dng photos are not shown in Lightroom as part of the original folder

I did not have this problem with the older MacBook, the .dng files were shown in the original folder so that I was able to see and compare with the original .nef picture.

How can I re-import the .dsg files into Lightroom tor recognize them as part of the collection?
