By combining an extra x2 pass in Hypir AI + a variation with Recover v2 + the variation with ON1 and a variation with GAI Standard, I really get something super cool and realistic. Even the leaves, you can see the little veins. It’s … (I don’t even have the words it’s so crazy).

OMG
. I love these micro details in the leaves.
At the same time, I’ll do the same scaling on Hypir AI. Then, I’ll make a final variation with Redefine Realistic. and I’ll put it all together in Photoshop.
Hello Harald.
Very nice pictures. I thought you said that you were no good at this sort of thing!

Best regards Robert.
Hello,
I have improved a lot in the meantime
.
By experimenting with different things in my workflow, I’ve managed to find the right tools. I haven’t tried Nano Banana yet, though. From the demos I’ve seen, it looks amazing.
And here is the final result with the depth of field added

I deliberately overused the Hypir AI settings a bit, but it was mainly for recovering the foliage behind.
But with a softer setting, it looks like this
Here is the prompt generated by Qwen Chat:
"Enhance this image showing three young roe deer in a garden at dusk. The scene features one roe deer standing alert on the left, looking toward the camera, with its small tongue slightly visible, while two others are grazing on the grass. The ground is covered with green grass and scattered fallen peaches, recognizable by their round shape and yellow-orange color.
On the right, part of a fruit tree is slightly visible, identifiable by its long, broad leaves of a lighter green shade, contrasting with the dense, darker shrubs in the background — these shrubs are not fruit trees.
- Sharpen details in the fur, especially spots and facial features, and clearly show the small tongue of the roe deer on the left.
- Reduce noise and blur while preserving natural textures: fur, grass, and leaves.
- Improve color accuracy: warm brown tones for the deer, vibrant green grass, golden-yellow peaches, and light green for the fruit tree’s leaves.
- Enhance clarity in the foreground (deer and fruit) while maintaining a soft but consistent background.
- Preserve the soft, natural lighting typical of late afternoon or early evening.
- Avoid artificial effects or over-processing; prioritize a realistic and faithful rendering.
Desired output: High-resolution, sharp, and detailed image with natural colors, ideal for wildlife documentation or sharing."
It will be used throughout the entire improvement process. And it works wonderfully in GAI Redefine.
In fact, I asked Qwen Chat to make me a prompt for Gigapixel that describes the photo very well.
First pass in Hypir AI. With at least 6 restoration intensity variations to get everything clean.

Upscaled x2 directly in Hypir from the first Hypir upgrade. I love the details in the grass, foliage, and on the roes deer. However, the head of the best one is weird. I still need to improve that.

This is what I call an extreme restoration of this photo.
3 roes - Imgsli
I think this is my best photo restoration so far.
Now let’s move on to the next photo.
Since it has a lower resolution and is a bit blurrier than the others, I first decide to run a pass through PhotoAI with the Super Focus v2 model. The photo already has a certain sharpness.
It will be easier to redo the details with Hypir AI or GAI Redefine later.
Original resolution 540x412. Upscale to x6 to enhance it as a first pass with Gigapixel AI.
I also used a 6x upscaling with the standard model for the foliage, as it didn’t look very good with Redefine.
Their fur is also very nice, great picture.
I wonder what will come of this in the end. And those leaves – quite a difficult start.

I’m also going to do a progressive enlargement variant with Hypir AI. And then I’ll combine the result with the GAI variant. Then I’ll do a final scaling to the final resolution of 50 megapixels
.
Ok, test with Hypir AI. I did a x3 and then I reinjected the first result by upscaling again by 3x.
Here’s the result. It’s pretty good.

I’m just a little less convinced by the quality of the grass.
I will then try to do first an x2 then an x2 and so on.
Also, here is the prompt for this photo. It is generated in Qwen Chat:
"Enhance this image showing a young roe deer standing in a garden at dusk. The animal is facing slightly toward the camera, ears perked up and expression alert. Its coat is warm golden-brown, smooth, with subtle highlights under soft lighting.
The background consists of dense dark green shrubs, contrasting with the bright green grass in the foreground, dotted with small white flowers. No fruit tree is visible in this scene.
Sharpen details on the fur, especially around the face, ears, and eyes.
Reduce digital noise while preserving natural textures: fur, grass, and leaves.
Improve edge clarity without creating artificial artifacts.
Adjust the soft evening light to enhance visibility of the deer’s body and surroundings.
Maintain natural colors: warm brown for the deer, vibrant green for the grass, deep green for the foliage.
Keep a peaceful, realistic atmosphere; avoid oversaturation or overprocessing.
Desired output: High-resolution, sharp, and lifelike image, perfect for wildlife photography or sharing. "
Zed1, unrelent, robert.bingham,
I think I outdid myself there hahaha.

Roe - Imgsli
I put a good part of this day + part of yesterday. But I’m really happy with how realistic this photo is.
Yes, another beautiful picture of a roe. I admire your patience, so much work. It’s incredible what can be done from the original imperfect photos.
Thanks. Yeah, and also with a lot of patience and a few mistakes
.
