I see this with the stand alone but it is reduced size, not fully minimized.
I would like to include deNoise AI in my usual workflow, but it increases the file size entirely too much. Using deNoise 3.3, processing from a7riii raw file (43.3MB) to DNG produces DNG files of 253MB. Converting to TIFF (16 bit, compressed ā not willing to go to 8 bits) was 295 MB, even larger.
Is there information about why things increase so much? What the resultant DNG files are ā I think they wrap a TIFF file.
But a 5-fold increase in size is a bit āover the top.ā
For reference, using DxO PureRaw as the raw processor (for the same file formats) results in files whose sizes vary from 100-180 MB (note that they vary ā DeNoiseās files are all exactly the same size). DeNoise is faster, taking about 40-50 seconds to process each image, where DxO PureRaw is much more. This is on a 2013 Mac Pro (ātrashcanā) so itās a rather dated machine. When that M1X or M2 Mac Mini comes outā¦
In Pāshop 2021 plug-in window opens only in small, center-screen mode after 3.3.3 update. Prefer previous ability to specify window size and location and canāt find a setting for this. What am I missing?
Edit: Now Iām seeing posts from others appearing to describe the same behavior. Bug fix, please.
Keep in mind that everything that concerns the M1 are entry-level devices.
Apple would have to double the performance to catch up with Windows desktop devices built in 2017.

Also, DDR 5 Ram is now coming to CPUs and PCI-E 5 in the PC sector.
Downloaded DAI 3.3.3, no problem. However, there isa strange happening with Clear on this dark, grainy CRW
image I have been using as one of my test images. I think I have seen this before but this is the first time with 3.xx. Note also that the severe noise image is much softer than the standard or lowlight. This is not new. Also, I would like to be able to intall upgrades without overwriting the last version, is this possible? I now canāt compare without reinstalling from fileā¦The good and bad news: using RAW (with the CRW file) in DAI gives a very flat image as you can see, but, the other choices produce color bobs in the low light sections, Clear is extremely bad in the shadows. Severe noise actually increases the noise or so it appears. No sharpness was applied.
The next image is the RAW conversion with exposure and contrast adjustments in Camera Raw, only⦠clearly superior without blobs and with increased sharpness. Note the color in the shadows, I have not hd this come up so easily before this change to RAW.
hi Thomas, I donāt see the images your list. I am also into astrophotography so am interested.
I donāt understand.
This is what Iām seeing. It starts as a smaller size and I have to hit the the āmaximizeā icon (next to the X) to make it larger. I tried to fix it by going to the properties but it still does it.
It didnāt until I updated it to 3.3.3
Tried as per your video on the RAW model, saved it as DNG only to realise it has patches of āburned marksā to the saved DNG picture. Tried saving in TIFF, DNG, āPreserve Source Formatā; all formats has the same āburned marksā albeit different spots of the picture. Running 3.3.3. Please advise.

Says older Possessors run faster, mine stopped working (Intel(R) Core⢠i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz) with De-noise all together,. I have a K1100 graphics card and tried with this and the integrated one. Still get the āYour possessor does not support our program messageā
After removing de-noise altogether and going back to 3.2 everything worked again.
Anything i can do to get 3.3 working as I can not open De-noise from āfile explorerā, if i do I loose āsave fileā and get āapplyā so original is lost. .IE: the main reason to install 3.3

I hear you sorry, my thinking was that I should bring it to some ones attention.
I will indeed contact tech support and ask them what the āNEWā system requirements are with this new āEngineā
Open 3.2, go to Help-> Graphics info., press Copy and post the information here. Note make sure you are using the Quadro K1100, also what is your integrated card?
Hi Adam ( @adam.mains ), just a heads up I had to download the full installer as the online installer from within the update dialog from 3.2 had difficulty downloading the individual components.
Same here. Denoise 3.3.3 opens in reduced size. itās a pain to keep having to maximize the screen. Iāve lodged a support query.
Here it is.
I am also using 3.3.3. Is there a way to submit raw and processed files to show the problem. Also not sure what to call these - I have never seen anything like this. I am using the term āartifactsā, but also saw āburn marksā. Cannot tell if they are the same because I cannot upload pics.
Thanks
