Custom scaling with a fixed width and height not possible in Topaz Video AI v3.2.2

In Topaz Video Enhance AI v2.6.4 it was possible and easy to adjust the scaling for the output settings while keeping the width and height fixed. I use it to get rid of the black borders in my SD 720x576px footage.
I tried the same in Topaz Video AI v3.2.2 but can’t find a way to achieve the same result. The options I could find are ‘Crop to Fill’ in which case I still see black borders on the side and when I use the ‘Select Scale’ option the width and height of the output are automatically adjusted.

I noticed this too. It was there in 3.x, but it disappeared sometime in the last few updates. I work with a lot of 4:3 footage and it’s very clunky to have to upscale to full 1920x1080 and then crop instead of just being able to scale to 1440x1080.

You need to select “Square Pixel Type”, not “Original Pixel Type” for it to work, as your video Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR) (based on your screen shot of 720x576) is PAR: 16x15 and not PAR: 1x1.
Then you will see you will get the option of 1280x720, 1440x1080, 1920x1440 and so on.
