This issue is fairly simple. It’s been present on every version of Topaz Video that I’ve used. If you use the crop tool on any video that has ‘rotation’ in it’s video properties, the crop tool will ignore that rotation and instead apply the rotation to the video with no rotation. That means the only way to correctly line up your crop is to re-encode any video with a 90, 180, or 270 degree rotation such that you are importing a 0 degree rotated video.
