Crop tool does not work properly

2. Steps

• Import a SD PAL 576p video
• Select the 720p output
• Use the crop tool to frame the right are I want to process
• Move the timelin to anytime
• Preview it

That is the crop interface

That is the crop seen after applying the parameters

And the preview rendering is not cropped properly.

Nevertheless the final export seems to be okay !

But very confusing for the end user.

This is a known issue:

4.0 Crop doesn't work in preview

Thanks so much for the bug reports! (This one and the others posted). We’ll be checking out the others as a team tomorrow, but this Crop behavior is expected for now. We’ve disabled cropping in Previews to avoid some unexpected behavior in the new UI, but it’s slated to be added back in soon. In this release, the area indicator matches the area that is exported after the Crop is applied.
