Crashes and freezes

Using Topaz Ai as a stand alone it has suddenly started freezing apart from the katherine wheel, just nothing happens OR it crashes with a black screen. With Lightroom Classic it just crashes.
I have tried removing the sofyware and re-installing it, today I updated the software to the latest 3.2.2 and still have the same problems.
Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1 start program
  2. Step 2 select photo
  3. Step 3 process said photo
  4. Step 4 give up and type this out.

I’d like to get some more information to help troubleshoot the problem you are having.

Could you send us your computer’s full system profile?

Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.

If you would prefer you can securely submit your files(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Make sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.

We’ve had a few users who have reported this problem and would like for you to try updating the driver to see if this helps resolve the problem. Here are the steps to do this:

  • Open your Device Manager

  • Go to Display adapters and double-click on your Intel Arc driver. Then go to the Driver tab and Update the driver.

Hi John,
Owing to a separate issue with my computer which is unrelated, I have had to take it to my computer guy, he will check the drivers are up to date whilst it’s there but it does mean I can’t access it for a few days.
My apologies
