CPU rendering half threds problem in Topaz Video AI 5.03 benchmark

hello

  1. Behavior: When I use the CPU render in Topaz Video AI 5.03 benchmark, I find that the process benchmark only take the half thread of CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X) to process which only use the half CPU performance. Is this normal? Why the program doesn’t use all the CPU threads to process?

  2. Your system profile =
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
    GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB (Drivers: 552.12)
    Mobo: ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO
    RAM: DDR4 3200 16GB x2
    SO: Windows 11 Pro - Build 22631.2715 (23H2)

You should be using the GPU for benchmarking and running the app not the CPU. Swap that in the Preferences Panel under the Processing tab, then run the benchmark again.

Seems to be normal. on my CPU the HT is not being utilized as well. The E-Cores are being used 100% thou.

@kyle,
Of course we are using our GPUs. This is just for testing and benchmarking.
