My patience with Photo AI is coming to a bad end.
I recently complained that every time you start Photo AI from Photoshop, the model files are downloaded again and again. I then discovered that this was no longer the case once you started the standalone version of Photo AI.
Today I updated from version 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 and the problem with the constant downloading of the model files starts again.
So I started the standalone version again and promptly got a new error, namely that the photo had too many channels. Very interesting that this only occurs in the standalone version, because Photoshop accepts too many channels without any problems.
After I loaded another photo into the standalone version (no model files were downloaded), no model files were downloaded anymore when I started Photo AI from Photoshop.
Now I’m curious to see how long it will take until the problem is resolved.
