Can't install latest version 1.3.8 and 1.3.9--Windows error

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Launch Topaz AI
  2. Click on Updates
  3. It starts to install, then get “The System Administer has set policies that prevent install”. No changed have been made in my system. I am the System Administrator. Suggestions?

@debbie.karnes Thanks for reaching out.

It’s odd that Windows would prevent the installation if you already have Photo AI on your computer.
Make sure you haven’t changed the installation location.

Reboot your computer and grab a fresh installer instead of updating from within the app.
You can download a new installer from the downloads page directly. https://topazlabs.com/downloads/

If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to clear your registry and reinstall the app.
