Can't Get Topaz Photo AI to Appear as a Plugin in Photoshop 2024

Continuing the discussion from Photo AI plugin missing in Photoshop 2024, MAC version:

The suggested solution isn’t working for me. I have Topaz Photo AI 2. My issue isn’t that Photo AI disappeared when I updated to PS 2024, but it won’t load as a plugin, only working as a standalone app. What I have tried to do was to delete the app, re-download it and run the installer app again after I closed PS 2024. It made no difference. I’m attaching my Mac System Report File. It is working as a plugin in Lightroom.

Please make sure to disable antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer before rerunning the installer. These are known to block the installer from downloading the model files. It’s possible that this is what’s blocking the plugin files from downloading properly.

Can you give that a try and let me know if it works?

As it turns out, there is no antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy running. What did cure the issue, though, was going in System Settings>Privacy & Security>Full Disk Access, and I noted that although Topaz Gigapixel AI and Topaz Denoise were listed there, Photo AI was not. I had previously re-downladed Photo AI and it wasn’t showing up again, but after I added Photo AI to Full Disk Access it now appears under File>Automate in PS 2024. I believe the other Topaz installers warned that I had to open that System Settings folder and approve adding those applications. This installer did not, which is why I didn’t previously note this issue.
