Brush very slow since V2.4

Since Version 2.4 when brushing with the regular brush, this is very slow. Very often the mouse cursor is lagging behind a few seconds. Also panning the image is slow.

The rest of the application is performing well.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Open Large image in PhotoAI
  2. Select sharpen
  3. select the brush and brush and in between move the image position
