Using Proteus on FHD contents to upgrade them to UHD, I noticed in very dark scenes or black screens (between two parts of a TV show for instance), a constellation of white or coloured glowing dots / points.
It may be triggered by hidden compression artefacts or hidden details in the darkness, but very annoying.
Proteus is good for still texts with modern typeface, but poor for oldtime looking typefaces or scrolling up texts.
Should be fixed because these artefacts are extremely visible!
Multiple bright dots glowing in the darkness are very visible indead.
